I have an announcement. *ahem-hem-hem*

I, your deviously deviant deviantart friend...

has made...

REGION CHOIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Really, I am so pumped right now I can hardly stand still. Region's like this humongous competition where a bunch of singers picked by directors (though due to a lucky break, our director got everyone to be payed for instead of having to make stricter cuts) go to compete for places in a huge performance. If you make it, you know your gonna be with amazing other singers...like, it's not just your normal choir. The people there are so good.

So all in all, I am verrrry pleased with myself.

Man, this is a late reply xD
Sorry.

Uhm, not much, really. We're going through sightreading "bootcamp" in choir, and there's a couple of group leaders with each of their groups, and a huge packet of nothing but fanatically boring sightreading goodness. I have Samantha in my group, the little seventh grader who's cousins with Stephanie in our grade. She is absoloutely awful, not just at sightreading, and does nothing to invite any kind of attempt to be nice. Or anything.

So that's choir. Athletics is athletics...which is running. And stuff. Basically, normal. :P

How are you?

The good writers touch life often. The mediocre ones run a quick hand over her. The bad ones rape her and leave her for the flies.
:iconallhailtehspazzyone:
Sure(:
I really do love your work. Keep it up!(:

Awesome, I'm -so- glad you got a tablet, Spazz!
Now, I would exactly recommend using Photoshop Element that came with the tablet. I've always had issues with the programs, and the lines were unsmooth.

I would say to download GIMP, and trying playing with it.
I believe the official GIMP website has a download here: [link]

It's fun to play with GIMP and to learn how to use layers.

Also, you can search here on deviantart for tutorials on using gimp.
And, I'd be /more/ than happy to help you anytime!
I'm just very excited I've got someone who is now also interested in art!
:iconallhailtehspazzyone:
Hah. Thank you for the tips! <3

Yes, I've had problems with Element too. It was confusing and painful to figure out ><

I like the tablet, but it deff'ly takes getting used to. Kinda reminds me of the credit card things in stores, where you write your signature. So mostly, I've been getting onto paint and doing the random thing. x]

Also, I've never tried GIMP. What exactly is it?

GIMP is just another art program that is just ten times easier than Elements.
I really love Paint, and it can get you what you want if you have patience, but it hasn't got layers.
Layers were so hard for me to use, but when I learned, they made my art ten times better.

Haha, you're right, it does remind me of a credit card thingy!
:iconallhailtehspazzyone:
I'm going to have to look into GIMP, then. I've never tried it because I just never had a use for it...but now I do.

I think I've actually messed around with a program that had layers, but it was so hard o.O
